From The Ghetto: MC Rebbe’s regular Saturday night comedy club featuring MC Rebbe as resident compare/emcee/selector and a stellar line up of comedy circuit stalwarts, plus special guests from as far a field as Australia. FTG Highlights included a now legendary standing room only show featuring Mark Thomas, Harry Hill & MC Rebbe all on the same bill; French music show “Rapido filming a piece about MC Rebbe for transmission in Britain, France, Belgium and Japan; and a star studded ˜From The Ghetto” benefit night at The Edinburgh Festival, that featured practically every big name in town including Lee Evans, Steve Coogan, John Thomson and the legendary Eddie Tenpole Tudor.

Pretension: The new romantic/futurist revival night created and hosted by MC Rebbe who, alongside ˜Shalom Strange”, was the club’s resident DJ. Imitated by many, equalled by none, Pretension kick started the 80s revival…so now you know who to blame! View the website here.
